Show A GOOD SERVANT. To make money is difficult: to keep it is more difficult; to make-it ear,n I more money safely is a science. Can j money be profitably invested, so that the principal is safe? Certainly, and by the process which increases the principal faster than any other means, viz.: interest. It is an old saying that "six per cent men rule the world." The 'wealthiest men and institutions in the i world have made their money by interest. inter-est. Occasionally a man makes a for-; for-; tune. Interest is an ideal serv-' serv-' ant. It works all day and all night, i Sundays and holidays, twenty-four ; hours a day, through hail, rain or . shine: never goes on a strike, does not smoke, drink or chew; is always ready and willing to work for any one who : wants him. All he asks is that his employer em-ployer shall put $100 or more into the business. The more that is put in, the harder the servant will work. The capital cap-ital will all be returned with a hun-dredfold hun-dredfold increase in due time, and meanwhile there is no worry or both- j er; it is a source of constant comfort. :i The favorite field for interest to work !1 in is real estate mortgages in a stead- i ily growing community. They should be first mortgages, on improved proper- ; ty, with insurance payable to the holder' hold-er' of the mortgage in case of fire. The rate should not be too high, but just ,' high enough to get the very best security. se-curity. These investments can be procured j' through F. E. McGurrin & Co., Sait ' I Lake City. I |
