Activities included prize drawings, a catered barbecue lunch, displays and giveaways by the Hill Fire Department and an impromptu game of Hacky Sack. Col. Allan Day, 309 MXW commander, gave his final commander's call, lauding the crowd for their achievements in the past year and highlighting efforts of the Junior Force Council and the Wingman Advocacy Program. The colonel will depart for Tinker AFB, Okla., in July to serve as the vice commander of the Air Force Sustainment Center. The car show had more than 70 vehicles entered. Entries included a gold 1949 Hudson Commodore and a yellow 2012 Chevy Camaro SS. One of the most popular vehicles displayed at the show, though not entered for competition, was a customized forest green Jeep Expedition One that featured lethal-looking airsoft guns mounted on the roof and on the driver and passenger sides.
