A primary action taken by the new board was the approving of a new "level payment" plan for credit union borrowers. This plan provides a specific monthly repay ment amount covering both interest and loan principle. It will be a welcome change for the borrowers in that it results in no difference in cost over the prior method and establishes an exact amount of payment each month, which makes payment by mail much easier. The board also announced that forms for use of military personnel in applying for membership are now available and they are invited to take advantage of the credit union facilities. |
