Scores of offices and shops all over the base displayed the one hundred percent sticker by Friday, March 7th, three days after the drive started. The money contributed by military and civilian employees at Hill Air Force Base is divided between Weber and Davis counties. This is done on a basis of a survey made by the Red Cross Field Director at this station, who determines the amount of money which each county will receive by the number of Hill Fielders who live in each. 1951 A telegram received yesterday at this base states that an emergency fund drive by the American Red Cross is being made to raise funds to meet the needs of tornado sufferers in six states. The Red Cross has committed over one million dol lars for immediate emergency re lief. Latest reports from the disaster area show 222 dead, 1107 injured, &-- 'h' . mi in -- nit t fc d First Lt.
