Tuesday morning a tour of the Hill huge maintenance shops at conField was undertaken by the ference, and later, a period of inspection of the shops and supply division was provided officer delegates to the conference. General superintendents met with Vic Myers, general superintendent from Patterson Field, headquarters Cf the Air Service Command. This was the first time in the history of Hill Field thai it was selected as the meeting place for an Air Service Command convention. Nearly 100 delegates, including Hill Field representatives, attended the deliberations of the key officers and civilians whose responsibility it will be during the coming year to continue to "Keep Em Flying" as America's sky armada strikes ever harder blows on both the European and South Pacific battle fronts. Maintenance chiefs who attended the conference included: Colonel T. E. Shanahan, Colonel T. B. McDonald, Colonel Leo Daw-eo- n and Colonel J. P. This is exclusive of representation from Hill Field. Griffin, chief of the chaplain section for Air Service Command, was a visitor on Hill Field Tuesday, conferring with members of the chaplain's section here.
