Every day, three to four thousand military and civilian vehicles enter and leave the base. Less apparent, but perhaps more important, is their sobering responsibility of seeing that unauthorized persons do not gain entrance to the base or its restricted areas. Trained In Force Most of the officers are trained within the force. A regular training school provides a five to six month course in proper handling of firearms, accident investigation, report writing, traffic control, and security measures.
