Hagerty, officer in charge of payroll branch, Marvin Johnson, counselor, employe rela tions; Edward B. Eisen, Red Cross director; and R. J. Wiscombe, war bonds and payroll employee. The war bond goal for federal employes is 90 per cent participa tion and 10 per cent deduction for entire payroll, and Hill Field the iN officials are anxious to meet that quota on the payroll for the depot. Maj. Renfro, Mr. Johnson and Mr. Eisen also visited Ford Ord at Monterey, Calif., inspecting the civilian housing setup there for two days. "I was especially impressed," Maj. Renfro said today, "with the tremendous size of our problem as compared with that of other in stallations. We have so many civil ians employed in the depot here that our problems are really three- xoia to serve employees with families living in cities, employees living with their families in the government housng units, and em ployees living' in the civilian dor mitory area.
