Show 7 Gunnison Glen Martin Carlson Glen Martin Carlson 88 of Orem Utah passed away at his home on December 2 2001 He was bom February 2 1913 in Manti Utah to Wilford Silas and Jenette Mortensen Carlson He was the second of five children Rex Edna Evelyn and Carma Glen married Pearl Sabra Jensen on April 26 1934 in Richfield Utah Their marriage was solemnized in the Manti Temple Glen and Sabra had two daughters Carol Sue and DeEtte On April 6 1942 while giving birth both Sabra and Baby David died Glen mamed Nila Albrecht on June 18 1943 in the Manti Temple Ten children were bom of that marriage Their posterity includes 62 grandchildren 42 and five Glen was drafted into the US Navy for World War II in 1944 He served as Company Clerk on the USS St Louis and was honorably discharged on October 31 1945 Glen was a hard worker and ways had three or four jobs at a time He worked in theFirst State Bank of Salina and served as Salina City' Recorder In 1950 he moved the family to Moab Utah where he worked for First National Bank which later became First Security Bank Glen was a key figure in the Moab Community His many official civic positions included: President of the Chamber of Commerce Lions Club and chair of the Grand County Chapter of the American Red Cross He was a trustee of the Allen Memorial Hospital for more than five years and was a member of the City Planning Com-- mission As his children got older he wanted them to have college educations so he moved the family to Orem Utah where he continued to work as Vice President of First Secu Michael Lee Arrested: Sehorn
