Show PROMINENT COUPLE KEEP MARRIAGE LONG SECRET Howard B. Christenson, son of the j late Reuben Christenson, gave his i hosts of friends a pleasant surprise this week, when he announced that he had joined the benedicts, and had forsaken for-saken bachelorhood. Mr. Christenson told a group of his close friends that on December 12 he had claimed Miss ' Duella Higham, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. E. Higham of Centerfield, as jhis bride. The ceremony was performed perform-ed at Nephi, with Elder Bailey officiating. of-ficiating. Following the marriage the newlyweds returned to Gunnison, but omy immediate memDers oi tne iam-ily iam-ily were advised of the marriage, the public having been kept in the dark until the recent announcement. Mrs. Christenson is a graduate of the Gunnison Valley high school, and is well known in school and church work. Mr. Christenson, at the death of his father, took over the business and is now managing the stock farm, so well known in Southern Utah. The newlyweds will make Gunnison their home, and their many friends will join in wishing them joy and prosperity. |
