Show PROMINENT YOUNG PEOPLE MARRIED AT AMERICAN FORK Newell Hofheins, son of Mrs. Ellen Hofheins, of this city and Miss Zel-ma Zel-ma Meredith of American Fork, were married at the home of the bride's parents at American Fork last Monday Mon-day night. Bishop Gardner officiated officiat-ed at the wedding and in the presence pres-ence of the immediate members of the two families. Immediately following fol-lowing the ceremony an elaborate wedding lunch was served and a reception re-ception tendered Mr. and Mrs. Hofheins. Hof-heins. Some sixty guests were present pres-ent and a delightful time was had in a social way and extending the best to the newlyweds. The Meredith home, where the reception was hole was beautifully decorated with car nations and asters. Mr. Hofheins is with the Tellurirr Power company of this city. He if well and favorably known here a: one of the prominent young busines; men. The bride is the daughter o Mr. and Mrs. George Meredith of American Fork. She is a graduate from the B. Y. U academy at Trove and is an accomplished musician and at her home town was a leader in the younger social set. At the reception re-ception given Mr. and Mrs. Hofheins Monday evening they were the recipients re-cipients of many beautiful presents, among the gifts being a fine assortment assort-ment of silverwear, dishes, fancy work and table and linenwear. Mr. and Mrs. Hofheins returned to Gunnison Tuesday evening ami they will make this city their future home. |
