Show Victim of Accident Buried In Gunnison All that was mortal of Dewane Harding Ferre, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Ferre, was tenderly laid to the final resting place at the Gunnison remetery Sunday at 12:30. Dewarie, six years of age and a native of Gunnison, Gun-nison, met a tragic death at Salt Lake City Thursday morning of last week, when he was run down by an automobile, automo-bile, being killed instantly. The lad, 9s his custom, had gone across the street with his father, and was waving wav-ing his little hand as a good-bye, when the automobile struck him. The remains were brought to Gunnison Gun-nison Saturday and impressive funeral fun-eral services were held from the high school auditorium Sunday at tjwelve-thirty. tjwelve-thirty. Bishop Chas. Embley of the Hamilton ward, officiating. The auditorium audi-torium was filled with sorrowing friends who had gathered to pay the last sad respects and to comfort and sympathize with the grief stricken parents who formerly resided in this city The services were brief, but iply impressive. Bishop Charles Fogg of Salt Lake, and John E. Larson Lar-son of Gunnison were the speakers. Words of sympathy for the parents and relatives were spoken. An appropriate ap-propriate musical program was given, among them being a violin solo by Harold Bradley, and a vocal solo, "My Faith In Thee," by Mrs. Dott White of Salt Lake. Two numbers were also given by a select quartet, comprising of members who came to Gunnison to attend the funeral for Dewane. Following the services at the high school, the body was taken to the Gunnson cemetery and placed beside that of a brother, who passed away while the parents were residents resi-dents of Gunnison. Dewane was born in Gunnison January Jan-uary '3, 1923, and was about six months old when the parents removed to Salt Lake. Among those from outside points attending the funeral for Dewane were W. S. Roper, Mr. and Mrs. S. K. Roper, Mart Roper and Mrs. Tom Clark of Lark, and Carl Farnsworth, Mrs. Dott White, Mrs. M. White, Bishop and Mrs. C. W. Fogg, Mr. and Mrs. Jack M. Roper, Mr. and Mrs. R.
