OCR Text	Show HONORED ON BIRTHDAY. Thursday afternoon of last week, Mrs. Norman Johnson was hostess to sixteen close friends, the event being in honor of the anniversary of her birth. The afternoon was spent at cards, two tables of bridge and two tables of "500" being in play. In the contest for honors at bridge, Mrs. G. Stanford Rees was awarded first prize, and first prize at "500" was awarded to Miss Trilma Francis. At five o'clock, the hostess served a delicious deli-cious luncheon on small tables. Mrs. Johnson received many beautiful gifts in honor of her natal day.
