Hereto fore the papers either hail to. donate the space or secure public-spirited advertisers to use their space to advertise ad-vertise the various bond and W.S.S drives. Starting w ith last wnt k, tho Gazette Gaz-ette and every other country paper-week paper-week ly, semi-weekly, trl-weeily ami dally has received an order to publish pub-lish a series of advertisements calling the attention of the people of Utah lo tlie fact that the honor of tho stale was at stake If tho full amount of W.S.S. was not bought. Also the dally papers of the larger cities are carrying paid advertising. Tlie matter of the advertising for the count:)' papers Is being handled by Secretary K T. 1'orte ot the Utah Stale l'ress association, who Is also publicity director of the Utah W.S S. committee.
