Don Carlos Dalton, an expressman dropped dead while driving bis wagon in Ogden. Death was due to heart failure. Mr. Dalton was seen to sud-deny sud-deny lose his grip on the reins and fall backward into the wagon. Bystanders By-standers rushed to his assistance, but found him dead. The state statistician is now sending send-ing out blanks to the various labor organizations of the state for information infor-mation as to labor conditions. This Aero club of Utah, which was organized in Salt Lake City a short time ago, has filed its articles of incorporation in-corporation with the county clerk. The really wonderful things that can be accomplished oy intelligent sheep dogs will be one of the fea- tures of the National Woolgrowers" convention and the mid-winter sheep show, which will be held in Ogden next January. Prices will be offered for the finest specimens of dogs. r-r Otto Bassett was convicted of high way robbery by a jury in the district dis-trict court at Ogden. Bassett held up and robbed Ed Morrissey one night last summer, stealing a gold watch. Bassett recently attempted to saw bis way out. of the county jai', but was caught in the act. - Dr. T. B. Beatty. secretary of the state board of health, states that the board has begun the tuberculine test on all dairy cows in the state, in ac oordance with the bill passed by the last legislature to prevent tuberculosis tuberculo-sis among dairy animals. A band of Indians filled with firewater fire-water caused a little excitement at Modena the first of the week, some of "the squaws of the tribe fleeing to the homes of white people in ordej to escape being mu-dered.
