Show Death and Funeral of Mrs. Frome The funeral of Mrs. Brlta S.FrOrne,, whose death occurred in this pity last Sunday, August 30, took place on the-afternoon the-afternoon of Tuesday, September 2. At th request of deceased service were held on the green in front of thfe residence, attended by a goodly number num-ber of sympathizing friends. A beau-, tiful tribute of flowers was offered,, eulogies were spoken by Fredrick Ludvigson.. 'ephi Anderson, C. A. Swalberg. Joseph Chrlstenson. and' Bishop James Basmussen who also, presided, the opening prayer being offered by Kiels C, Myrup of the bishopric and benediction by Nephl Gledhill. Appropriate selections were, rendered by the. choir, besides a Swedish song upon request of the de-. ceased by E. L. Swalberg. Brlta Stina Frome, the daughter of Peter Fredrickson and Maria Johan-son, Johan-son, was born near Stockholm, Sweden, July 26, 1345. She marnied Lars F. Frome, now deceased, and became the mother of nine children, six of whom,. 2 sons and 4 daughters survive. In her manner of life Mrs. Frome was rather eccentric, but never swerved from her religious conviction. She was baptized and became a member of the Mormon church In her native land, July 31, 1880, and emigrated to Utah the n&sb year. She was a hard worker and although left alone managed to care for the surrounding3 of her home and earn her livelihood besides some-savings. The end came unexpected, as she was in her usual health two or three days before. Dftath was caused by acute gastritis, duito ptomaine poisoning. |
