Show A SAD DEATH. The sad news of the death of Miss Irene McDowell, of Goldsprings. was received here last Monday, she having hav-ing passed away quite unexpetedly . on Sunday moruine. She was a guest at the James Reams' home for several weeks this spring, and by her genth and love-able love-able disposition became a favorite with all those she met. The burial was at Salt Lake, and Hugh and Beatrix Bea-trix Kearns left on the morning train to attend the obsequies. The deceased was in her fifteenth year, just budding into womanhood, full of life and hope, of happy disposition, dispos-ition, and had a well trained mind for one of her years. Aching hearts will miss her from the home, and her devoted de-voted friends mourn her untimely ending. Thus hath grim death snatched another flower of earth to plant in the unseen garden of immortal life. |
