Show Axtell Notes. Axtell, Maroh 10. Through the able management of our school teacher, teach-er, Cbas. E. Embley, a fine program was rendered in the Nielson hall last night by the public school. The children were well drilled in their various parts, and the parents expressed ex-pressed themselves as being well pleased with the discipline of the preseut teacher. After the program a dance was in order and both old and young er joyed themselves until a late hour. E T. Takahashi, a Japanese con tracter, has contracted from C, L Thorpe twenty-five acres of land for raising potatoes, and the same number num-ber of acres from H. W. Nielson for cabbage. It is expected that within the next fow days much more land will be contracted for. Miss Belle Sprainhour of Pay-Hou and Miss Dolly Altred of Spring City are visiting with the Nielson family this week. Miss L' na Hausen of Ephraim has baeu visiting here for the pat two weeks. |
