Show WASHINGTON SCHOOL NOTES. By Lester Yepson. A Imore serious look seems to come over the faces ofjstudents as we near the time for final examinations. Miss Bywater spent Tuesday and "Wednesday in Manti. Her sister, Miss Dora Bywater conducted tho school during her absence. The school baseball team plays its first scheduled game at May field this Friday afternoon. The Jewel class will render the following fol-lowing program at the next bi-weekly meet to be held Thursday evening April 9 at 8 o'clock sharp: Piano solo, Glade Bown; Current events, Margaret Margar-et Weiser; China, C.E.Embley; Jokes, Alma Frederickson; Piano solo, Nora Weiser; Beading, Jean Winder; Recitation, Re-citation, Dora Beck; Vocal solo, Elsie K. Bartholomew; Reading, Viva Chew; Violin solo, Ira Mace. Some Washington students took advantage'.of April's fool day on Wednesday, Wed-nesday, by spending the afternoon up on the "Rocky point" and vicinity. Well, who wouldn't? it was such a beautiful afternoon. |
