NUMBER TWENTY-FIV- E IMPROVEMENTS AT BURMESTER STATION Numerous improvements are being contemplated for Burmes-te- r, the thriving town north of Grantsville, in the near future. A new school building has been premised by the Board of Education which is to be erected in time for the children there to attend school this winter. Work was stalled duiing the past week on the new $50,000 salt refinery, which had been planned some time ago, the foundations of which are now being put in. The new building is to lie five stories in height according to reports. The salt for the plant will be gathered with a steam shovel this fall and an oil burner engine has been oidey-c- d to replace the horses now employed in hauling in the salt from the jionds. The company has ordered a new residence to lie built for the manager of the plant and also a bungalow for the use of the company officials when on their tours of inspection. The pipe line to supply water for the town is almost completed and should be ready for use within the next week or two. Other improvements are contemplated which will lie of great importance to both Grantsville and Buimester. Miss Edith Spanton sent $37.50 to the Red Cross in Salt Lake City Saturday, that amount having been the proceeds from the entertainment given Friday evening. o : 1of Mys.
