Show MRS. BARTCH. There is exceeding sorrow in the home of Justice Jus-tice Bartch. The wife and mother, the stay and inspiration of the family, has died, and in their desolation there is no light for the husband and children save in the memories of the virtues and graces of character of her, who, o'erwearied, has fallen asleep. Hers was a life devoted exclusively to duty. She met every responsibility with the single thought, that her life was a trust which must be accounted for and that all its requirements require-ments must be met and fulfilled to the utmost as became a Christian woman. This made her tho gentlest of neighbors, the truest of friends, this in her own home so wound her heart-strings around the heartstrings of those who leaned upon her, that the rude separation brought by death, leaves them utterly desolate. The record of her good deeds and of her high blameless life will be her perfect certificate of worthiness above as they were on earth. The profound sympathy of the whole city goes out to the sorrowing ones who sit comfortless under un-der their great affliction. |
