Be it ordained by the City Council of Salt Lako City, Utah: Section 1. That Soctlon 5C8 of the Revised Ordinances of Salt Lake City be, and the same hereby is amended so as to read as follows: Section 5G8. The Recorder shall have power to appoint, during the term for which ho is elected, subject to confirmation confir-mation by the Council, tho following deputies and assistants: One Doputy Rocordor, who shall also act as Clerk of tho City Council Committees, Com-mittees, at a salary of twelve hundred ($1,200) dollars per annum; Three Deputy Recorders, two of whom shall act as clerks of the City Court, at a salary of ton hundrod and eighty ($1080) dollars per annum; and one of whom shall act as clerk of tho Juvenile Court, at a salary of nlno hundrod ($900.00) dollars per annum; Two Clerks, at a salary of nine hundred hun-dred ($900.00) dollars each, per annum; an-num; Two stenographers for tho City Court, at a salary of seven hundrod and twenty ($720.00) dollars oaoh por annum, all of which salaries shall bo Paid monthly as aro tho salaries of other city employees. Be It ordained by tho City Council of Salt Lako City, Utah. Soctlon 1. That tho City Council does hereby levy tho tax and provide for tho assessment of tho same upon tho property hereinafter described In lots Nos. 3, 4, 7 and 8, block 51, plat "A," Salt Lako City survoy, abutting on both sides of Market Street botwoon Blast Tomplo and West Tomplo Streets, In Sidewalk District No. 20, said property prop-erty having a frontage of 1,300 foot along said Street.
