Sidewalk Extension No. 54. AN ORDINANCE. An ordinance levying a tax and for the assessment as-sessment of property on the north side of Second street, between O and P streets, In Sidewalk District No. 26, for the construction con-struction of a cement sidewalk: Bo It ordained by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah: Section 1. That the City Council does hereby levy the tax and provide for the assessment of the same upon the property prop-erty hereinafter described in Lota 1 and 2, Block 23, Plat "G," Salt Lake City Survey, abutting on the north side of Second street, between O and P streets, in Sidewalk District No. 25, said property having a frontage of 330 feet along said street. This tax is levied to defray the expense ex-pense of constructing a cement sidewalk upon said portion of said street opposite the property hereinafter described to be especially affected and benefited by said improvement, and it is hereby adjudged, determined and established that the same will be especially benefited thereby to the full amount of the tax hereby levied, and said parcels of land are hereby assessed at an equal and uniform rate In accordance accord-ance with the linear foot frontage upon said portion of said street fronting upon and to a depth of twenty-five (25) feet back therefrom, and the tax hereby levied and to be assessed upon said parcels of land is three hundred and three and 60-100 (?303.60) dollars, or 92-100 ($0.92) dollars dol-lars per front or linear foot, which is the estimated total cost and estimated cost per linear foot of said sidewalk, and the Treasurer Is hereby authorized and directed di-rected to assess in accordance with the provisions of this ordinance for the purpose pur-pose herein mentioned, all of Lots 1 and 2, Block 23, Plat "G," Salt Lake City Survey, as the same are shown upon the official plats of said City to a depth of twenty-five (25) feet back from said street. Section 2. Said tax shall become and be delinquent as follows: One-third thereof shall become delinquent delin-quent in three months after the approval of this levy; one-third In six months after said approval, and one-third in twelve months after said approval. Each and every installment of said tax except tho first, shall draw interest at the rate of 7 per cent per annum from date of levy, and all said installments shall bear ten per cent per annum from date of delinquency. delin-quency. Be it ordained by the City Council of Salt Lake City, Utah: Section 1. That the City Council does hereby levy the tax and provide for the assessment of the same upon tho property prop-erty hereinafter described in Lots 4 and 5, Block 50, Plat "A," Salt Lake City Survey, Sur-vey, abutting on tho east side of First West street, between Third South and Fourth South streets, in Sidewalk District No. 11, said property having a frontago of 660 feet along said street.
