Show An Informal Farewell In Honor of the Club. Mrs.W. P. Eaton, president of the Ladles' Self-Culture Club, assisted by Mrs. M D. Evans, Mrs. T II. Edwards and tho Misses Hazel and Essie Evans, gave an Informal at home In honor of the Club Wednesday afternoon of this week. Over twenty guests were present. The refreshments served were suggest Ive of Thanksgiving. Pisco cards and favors in the form of a Turkey filled with salted almonds were laid on nap kins at tho tablo and considerable merriment merri-ment was indulged in by the guests In locating their places. Tho decorations consisted of chrysanthemums. After refreshments an advertising guessing contest was Indulged in by the guests present. Mrs. J. H. Wallls won the tirst prize and Sirs. C. J. Campbell the second. In behalf of tho Club Mrs. V. D. Lewis, Vice-President, presented Mrs. Eaton a beautiful Jewel case as a token of appreciation for her efficient service In the past. Mr, aud Mrs. Eaton leave Tucsduy next for Callento, Nevada. Vice-President Mrs. W. D. Lewis will act as chairman of the Club until the first of the New Year when a re-election of offices will take '- o. |
