Show I tropic mivm i By Ella Adair 679-8648 Mondell and Florence Syrett and Bob Syrett attended the Brigham Young University football game in Provo on Saturday. The Alfred and Toni Foster family fam-ily spent the weekend in Las Vegas. The grass is up, the sprinkling system is working and black top is being laid on the roads in the cemetery. It is now a beautiful spot in our community. Voluntary contributions con-tributions to be made for the black-topping black-topping of the road will be accepted by the cemetery board. Many thanks go to those individuals who spent many hours to make this project pro-ject a reality. Dar and Helen Smith visited with the Earl Jolleys. The cattlemen have been busy this past week getting their cattle off the ranges. Vickie Ahlstrom attended a Special Education seminar in Salt Lake City. Ella Adair was in St. George for a medical appointment. Paula Richards spent several days in the Dixie Medical Center. We are happy to have her home again. Cora Shakespear and Ethel Griffin had medical care in Cedar City. Mr. and Mrs. Lynn LeFevre and Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Moore were weekend visitors with LaMar and Ethel LeFevre. Amplus LeFevre is in Monroe with her son Weldon LeFevre. Mr. and Mrs. Rel Kay Sud-wecks, Sud-wecks, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Leav-itt Leav-itt and Deward and Sammy Smith were at the DeRell Sudweek's home. Ron and Joe McGee were at Minnie Nielsens for the opening of the deer hunt. Merle Richards, Helma Haas and DeVar and Fay Pollock were in Cedar City on business and for dental care. Daryl and Dicy Shumway and a group of 20 Sons of the Utah Pi-oneers.spent Pi-oneers.spent three days in the area enjoying the beauty of this area in the state. They found the road to the Hole in The Rock almost impassable im-passable for touring cars but other areas easy to go to. The memberships for Lacee Lee Edwards and RaVae Pollock were accepted into the Tropic LDS Ward. The Scott Jackson family presented the program in Sacrament meeting, giving those present a chance to meet the new school principal and his family. Eva Marshall visited with Ella Adair and other friends. |
