DeLynn Norman is back in the Page hospital being treated for complications from his i magery Dr. Kazan took Shanon Steed back with him and removed his appendix. Geraldlne liston took Karol Kelly to Panguitch to have her finger sewed up, she had a bad cut and Judy had taken Kacey arrowhead hunting. Ev-erett McCormlck, he Is the husband of Lana Norman, is in the Page hospital being treated for ulcers, Lana and Yukon went to visit them, bt-thyl Griffin is home from the hospital, Vernon and Hazel brought her, Vernon is going to Salt Lake City to a special-1st. Slim Is still in the Panguitch hospital, those nurses are spoiling him until he will probably not even want to come home; Mother Alvey, Dot and kids and myself met the kids from Orem there Sunday. Two sets of parents were smart fixing it so their kids only have birthday anniversaries every four years; Bob and Sharon Carlson had a girl, Stan and Valerce Huntington a boy on the 29th of Feb. Nel-da Willis went to Beaver and got her three Mclnelly grandchildren, then Lynn came for them on the weekend and his mother Mary Ellen Coleman went back to stay awhile. Mike and Grena Kae Searle came from Sprlngville and took Twlla Mclnelly back north to visit the Hal Barkers in Salt Lake City, their son Darwin Is having surgery. Ma7 and UVern Griffin. took their Peterson kids, Jimmy, JoLynn and Shana to Phoenix to fly on to Florida, Pat and Bob Sorensen were also in Phoenix. Clem Griffin, his son Robert and fiancee of Murray were at the Ernie Griffin home. Clarice was about ready to throw in the towel, her equipment is all quitting at once. Robert Haws and Cleo Lyman went to Hanks-vllle where they have employment. Vera Davis Is visiting in Richfield at the Vernon Davis home. Jan and Stan Liston went to Calif, to visit Lana Lord. Arils and Melba Brooks had business in Colorado. The Blake Robinsons had Joe and Rhoda Allen and family from Texas. Ruth and Mate Baugh from Tropic and Beth Jacob-son and son from Calif. Randal and Gwen Lyman were home from Nevada for the weekend, they had their house all to themselves as Millie and James Mclnelly were In Richfield. The Young Marrleds held their meeting at the Elementary school. Renon Reed and girls, Vernon Dean Roundy and family were here from Monroe for the weekend. Ne-ta Haycock took daughter Ja-nls to Panguitch for dental work, Clarice Griffin accompanied them. LaVern and Mary Griffin had a dental appointment there, they took me along to visit Slim. Girl Scout officials Arlene Dart and Elissa McChesney of Orem were here meeting with the local leaders. Caroline Williams and Rutli Lay have the Brownies, Marie Porter is the Junior leader with Carol Barney and Lucile Cowles assisting. These Junior Scouts will be out taking orders between the 9th end 16th for Girl Scout cookies, If they miss you just call Marie and place your order. The cookies come In several tasty varieties. The High School held their annual Sweetheart Preference Ball Friday night; Doris Spencer was chosen Queen with Virginia and Julie Shurtz attendants; Randy Griffin was King with Fred Spencer and Robert Seal attendants. The Sophomore tournament In Pangultch was attended by many Interested citizens from here; our boys won over Valley and Piute. Geneal Shurtz went to Boulder to help Renon Peterson. Neal and Fae Jepsen of Boulder brought their car for repairs, visited relatives here then went on to Salt Lake Cl-tv to meet son Fred. Clarle Wooley of Orem Is visiting her son Reed. You folks Interested In the annual 17th of March homecoming party, it will be held March 18th in the South ward church. Dinner will be served around noon followed by a program and a dance at night.
