Show Obituaries Wnllncc Roundy ESCALANTE Wallace Napoleon Roundy, 89,' Escalante, died Oct. 7, 1977. He was born Mary 1, 1888, Escalante, to Napoleon Bonepart and Elizabeth M. Williams Roundy. He married Ella May Griffin, March 10, 1909, Escalante; solemnized In the Manti IDS Temple. She died May 20, 1964. He was a farmer and livestock raiser. He served on the stake high council for many years. He filled a Northwestern States IDS mission. Survivors; sons, daughters, Wallace Glade, Vivian, both Salt Lake City; Floyd G., Mendon; Dr. Jerry C, Rexburg, Ida.; Mrs. James (Edna) Smith, Seattle, wash.; Mrs, Ralph (Wavie) Siple, Idaho Falls, Ida.; Mrs. H. Smith (Betty) Alvey, Escalante; 21 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; sisters, Mrs. Ray Griffin, Escalante. Funeral services were Monday in the Escalante Ward chapel with Bishop Sharon Dale Marsh, officiating. Glade Roundy offered the family prayer and Areola Gates played prelude and postlude music. Floyd G. Roundy offered the invocation. Speakers were Neta Shirts, Jerry C. Roundy, Vivian Roundy,, Lorenzo Griffin and Bishop Marsh. Music included selection by the Relief Society Chorus; selection by Gerrell Roundy; marimba selection, Evelyn Roundy; selecton by Bill Griffin and Hal Shurtz. Greg Tait offered the benediction. Burial was inthe Escalante Cemetery by Neal S. Magleby and Sons Mortuary, Richfield, where Jay Stokes offered the dedicatory prayer. Pallbearesrs were Smith Alvey, Ralph Siple, Jimmy Smith, Dent Roundy, Glen Roundy, Rodney Roundy. Honorary pallbearers were Willy Siple, Kelly Siple, Bud Siple, Elliot Smith, Steven Smith, Scott Roundy, Tony Alvey, Frank Alvey, Johnny Alvey. Eunice Duggins Eunice Duggins Eunice Elaine Denner Duggins, 64, died Oct. 6, 1977, in Las Vegas, Nev. of cancer. She was born Oct. 24, 1912, Winnipeg, Canada, to Herbert Henry and Elizabeth Shewell Denner. She was married to Sims Edward Duggins, Jan. 20, 1933, Salt Lake City. She lived in Panguitch from 1943 to 1976 and was active for many years in 4-H projects and served as chairman of the Red Cross Bloodmobile drives in the Panguitch area from its inception until 1974. She served a term as president of Panguitch Business and Professional Womens Club. She was naturalized as an American citizen May 13, 1942. Survivors: husband; sons, daughter, Sims D., Salt Lake City; Rodney E., Seattle, Wash.; Mrs. Richard (Blanche) Linford, Las Vegas, adopted daughter, Mrs. Robert (Debbie) Crosby, Panguitch; nine grandchildren; sister, Mrs. Joseph (Phyllis) Hib-shman, Westminster, Calif. Funeral services were Tuesday in the Panguitch North Ward chapel with Bishop Carl Hatch, officiating. Sims D. Duggins offered the family prayer and Irene McEwen, Hope Truman and Barbara Orton played prelude and postlude music. Frank Orton offered the invocation. Speakers were Rodney E. Duggins; A. L. Elmer, Kate Church, Doyl Ipson, Vernon Holman and Bishop Hatch. Music included selection by the Panguitch North Ward Choir; vocal solo, Vee Bruhn, vocal solo, Elaine Riggs. Jay Riggs offered the benediction. Pallbearers were Cavel Henrie, Konroy Henrie, Frank Henrie, Lowell Henrie, Earl Henrie and Bruce Howard Honorary pallbearers were Richard Wood, Robert Crosby and Circhard Linford. Graveside services f were Wednesday in 1 Wasatch Lawn Memorial I Park at 3 p.m. with t Bishop Douglas R. I Calvert, officiating. William (Bill) Bruhn offered remarks and Sims D. Duggins gave the i dedicatory prayer. Funeral director was Neal S. Magleby and Sons, Richfield. |
