Show Area Obituaries Keith Ormond BICKNELL, Utah - Keith Ormond, age 61," of Bicknell, died Aug. 25, '2004 at his residence resi-dence in Bicknell after a long illness. He was born Oct. 2, 1942 in Newport, Wash., a son of Carter Merrill and Katherine Letitia Reed Ormond. He was raised in Washington State and in Utah. He graduated from Escalante High School, Class of 1961 and he joined the Army that same year. He served in Vietnam, Europe and the United States. Keith married Gwendolyn Huggins in 1965 and they had two children, Nannette and I Heather. . They were later ; divorced. After 12 years of service, Keith left the Army to become a plumber. He worked in Texas for several years before returning return-ing to Utah to stay near his aging parents. Keith worked as a ranch hand in Utah for the rest of his career. He retired five years ago due to failing health. Keith enjoyed hunting and fishing. As a teenager he would ride his bicycle 20 miles round trip to the lake and home, just to spend time fishing. He rarely missed a hunting season once he was old enough to go. He also enjoyed fixing up old cars and was never quite happy unless he .had one to work on. Keith is survived by his children: chil-dren: Nannette and Jeff Roach of Bayard, Neb.; Heather Omega Riggs Campbell ST. GEORGE, Utah -Omega Riggs Campbell, age 93, passed away Monday, Aug. 30, 2004 at her daughter's home in St. George. She was born July 27, 1911 in Hatch, Utah, a daughter of Samuel Barnhurst and Effel Harmon Burrows Riggs. She married Cloyd . Delton Campbell Dec. 29, 1933 in the St. George LDS Temple. Surviving family include her: eight children, Myrtle Robertson, LaRue Holt, Yvonne (Russell) Wilson, Konny (Dave) Emery, Nelda (Gary) Fagg, Delton (Elaine) Campbell, Florene LeAnn Campbell, and Ronda (Dennis) Webb; 47 grandchildren; many greatgrandchildren; great-grandchildren; sisters and brothers, broth-ers, Thora Porter, Lucille Hill, Thalia Mickelson, Leland (Adell) Riggs, Ray (Alaina) Burrows, and Reva (Kay) Alexander. Funeral services will be held Saturday, Sept. 4, 2004 at 12:30 p.m. at the St. George 9th Ward Chapel, 550 E. 700 S., St. . George. Graveside services will be held Thursday, Sept. 2, 2004 at 1 p,m. in the Escalante City Cemetery, with military honors accorded by the Escalante American Legion Post 114 and under the direction of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield, Salina and Gunnison, Utah.
