Show ? Elsie L. Price Elsie L. Price JUNCTION Elsie L. Price, 80. Junction, died April 20, 1982, in a Panguitch hospital. She was born Sept. 22, 1901, St. David, Ariz., to Henry Benjamin and Clarrisa May Riggs. She was married to William Clavin (Cal) Price, April 30, 1921, Junction. She served as post-master in Junction f for 28 years, retiring in 1970. She was active in the LDS Church and served as chairman for the cancer rnnarte in Junction for many years. She was chairman of the first deer hunter's dance in Junction and was noted for her letter writing to servicemen for many years. Survivors: husband, Junction; son, daughters, Mrs. Charles M. (Maydene) Madsen, Pleasant Grove; Mrs. Lew E. (Palma) Black, Henderson, Nev.; Mrs. Vance (Connie Lee) Marshall, Miners ville; Calvin Lang, Camichael, Calif.; sister, Mrs. Elwood (Angie) Wight, LDS mission to Spain; brothers, Benjamin, May wood, Calif.; Alma B., Glendale, Ore.; stepbrother, Orson Curtis, Sandy; 18 grandchildren; 44 greatgrandchildren. Funeral services will be held Friday at 1 p.m. in the Circleville First Ward chapel, Friends may call at Neal S. Magleby and Sons Mortuary, Richfield, Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. and at the ward chapel Friday after 11 a.m. Burial will be in the Junction Cemetery. Susanna Walker Susanna G. Susanna Gould Walker, 88, Panguitch, died April 14, 1982, in San Diego, Calif. She was born May 13, 1893, Panguitch, to Samuel L. and Oarah Jane Montague Gould. She was married to Stephen Edgar Walker, Sept. 17, 1920, St. George LDS Temple. He died. She resided in Panguitch all her life, where she was active in the LDS Church auxiliaries and civic clubs, including Literary Club and Daughters of Utah Pioneers. Survivors: Son, daughter, Edgar Royce, San Diego, Calif.; Doris Rappleye Montoya, Salt r I- n:... i children; nine greatgrandchildren; sisters, Ruby G. Myers, Panguitch; Julia G. Dewey, Washington. Funeral services were held Monday in the Panguitch First Ward chapel with Bishop John W. Yardley, officiating. E. Royce Walker offered the family prayer and Barbara Heaton and Pamela Yardley played prelude and postlude music. Everett Wallace gave the invocation. Speakers were Opal Hatch, Jasper L. Crawford and Bishop Yardley. Music included selections by the Tri-Ward Choir; medley by Karren Harris and Barbara Heaton and vocal solo by Jeanette Curtis. Bruce Dewey gave the benediction. Burial was in the Panguitch City cemetery by Neal S. Magleby and Sons Mortuary, Richfield, where Clark Veater gave the dedicatory prayer. Pallbearers were Rick Montoya, Dan Vegil, Craig Rappleye, Steve Rappleye, Tony Martinez and Kim Proctor. |
