Show Sixth District Court Actions PANGUITCH Judge David L. Mower presided over Sixth Judicial Judi-cial District Court in Panguitch, Thurs. Mar. 4. First on the docket was Timothy Timo-thy ITimx K. McKinlay, 43, formerly for-merly of Bryce Canyon but residing in St. George. McKinlay had earlier been arrested ar-rested and charged with four counts dating back to Nov. 97 and Mar. 98 while employed at Pink Cliffs Motel. The initial charges included theft, a second degree felony of $5,470 cash; theft, a third degree felony, $1,000 cash proceeds from the sale of numerous items; criminal crimi-nal conspiracy, a third degree felony and criminal conspiracy, a class A misdemeanor. He was making his initial appearance in court without representation. McKinlay had worked out a plea bargain with Prosecutor Wallace Lee wherein he pled guilty to the second charge, a third degree felony with all other charges being dismissed. dis-missed. He was referred to Adult Probation and Parole (AP&P) for a pre-sentence report. The case was continued until Apr. 29 for sentencing. sentenc-ing. Olin Richard Powers, 37, of Or-derville Or-derville was in court for an initial appearance. He was charged with three counts dating back to July 1998 including aggravated assault, a third degree felony; intoxication, a class C misdemeanor and disorderly conduct, an infraction, when he ' allegedly threatened two individuals while intoxicated. Powers worked out a pica agreement with Attorney Wallace Lee wherein he pled guilty to a single count of assault, a class B misdemeanor and all other charges were dismissed. He was fined $500 and given six months unsupervised probation by Judge Mowers. Simpson, 34, of -Salina was before the court for an initial appearance on drug-related charges dating back to an incident -, on Mar. 30, 1998.
