Show April 8, 2010 IITCj Rh: isAiwb 04446- E-mail: Naii‘esiiima *Oa cws Our family had a wonderful Easter Sunday. It was my granddaughter Teah 21st birthday and she had her host family from Mexico here visiting. They are the ones that Teah lived with for 4 months while she was learning Spanish and teaching English. Teah and her Mother took the family skiing and snowmobiling up at Brian Head; they are a fun loving family. Dr. Gonzales is a doctor in the town where they live, Tehuacan, and owns a clinic and works at the hospital. He is starting on a new adventure, he and his partner are opening up a dialysis business, their city is the size of Cedar and doesn't have this service. He says that diabetes is extremely prevalent all over Mexico. A tip from one doctor to another - for those who ask you for advice outside of the clinic, when someone comes up to you for medical advice (outside of the hospital) tell them to lie down in the street where they are and take off their clothes and you can examine their problem- they will never bother you again. The Easter Egg Hunt came off real well. My wife Pat woke up on Tuesday morning and said it's going to snow on Thursday so let's move the hunt inside the Fair Building. As usual she was right, it was snowy and windy and very cold. There seemed to be just as many kids this year, so they all got the word of the change. Those kids that were there seemed to have their baskets full. Brandon and Troy Huntington, Cody Peterson helped with setting up the fair building for the "hunt". John Mudge was at the Egg Hunt in disguise and Braxton Dalton helped with clean-up. It is very helpful to have such willing volunteers. Working on merit badges did not hurt either. We were talking about the next events that were coming up and Pat said to remind all you ranchers, farmers and antique collectors to get your tractors "COMPLETE AIR CONDITIONING RECHARGE SERVICE NOW AVAILABLE" Page 5 The Garfield County Insider I PRODUCERS ready for the Tractor Parade is like FCCLA, with an open for Saturday of the Quilt forum, its 1A-5A and over Walk Festival.
