Show LEGAL NAMES NOTICE OF PROPOSED TAX INCREASE GARFIELD COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT The Garfield County School District is proposing to increase its property tax revenue. ► The Garfield County School District tax on a $150,000.00 residence would increase from $490.79 to $520.90, which is $30.11 per year. ► The Garfield County School District tax on a $150,000.00 business would increase from $892.35 to $947.10 which is $54.75 per year. ► If the proposed budget is approved, Garfield County School District would increase its property tax budgeted revenue by 6.13% above last year's property tax budgeted revenue excluding new growth. ► Garfield County School District property tax revenue from new growth and other sources will increase from $3,217,491.00 to $3,414,448.00. All concerned citizens are invited to a public hearing on the tax increase.
