Other board members present were Dean Peterson, Joe Warner, Boyd Melville, and Jack Scottorn. Craig Miller, Engineer for Division of Water Rights, Department of Natural Resources, was introduced and made a progress report on the sprinkling system project that is underway. The first two phases have been completed and the water may be seen bubbling up near the highway up Canyon Road near the Mario Mace property. The next phase will consist of laying the pipe to take care of the water held in the South ditch. Mr. Miller again assured those present that there will be ample water to take care of. the needs of the community. It appears that there w ill be no need for water turns. Plans call for taking lines through the center of blocks, with risers to be placed on property of the shareholders. Before work can start, easements will have to be obtained from property owners. The cooperation of all shareholders is urged so the next phase will not be held up on this account. Ron Hare, attorney for the association. was asked to comment on the system that was installed in Kanosh recently and with which people there are well pleased. LaGcnc Allred, secretary, itemized on a blackboard the funds expended so far and for what purpose. Less than half of the stock was rep- resented so no election of officers could legally be held. A motion was passed giving the present board mem- bers support in proceed- with the ing progress of this project. The Engineer and Chairman invited and quite a few questions were asked and discussed. Mr. Miller sug- gested that another meeting be held in three or four weeks for further dis- cussion and action required so that bids can be advertised as soon as possible. whole-hearte- d dance.
