Some of the story was apparently misinterpreted by $ few people. This week, we wish to clarify this and state than in no way did we wish the article to carry the meaning as some saw. Most of the story was gainintered from a first-han- d view with Millard Sheriff Bryant Crosland. The story of the twos first arrest came from a Trooper with the Utah Highwajy Patrol. In the article about the . . escape we made reference to the fact that the Sheriff Bryant Crosland had told the jailer Guy Mitchell to leave the jail after the Sher the lady swings an axe and rons a chisel... Iron Counties finished an extensive Emergency Medical Technicians course in Beaver, last week. After 20 hours of hospital training, they will receive their official certi- ficates as licensed EMTs. During the final weekend. the group took to the field to learn the techniques ol automobile extrication. One think this is a mans field. But the lady students soon showed their skills with a firemans ax. an air chisel and just about any tool that the instructor had to teach students. Automobile extrication, mountain rescue work and other physical aspects ol skills Emergency Medical and training for a long time were a mans field, but nc v iff was attacked. Some in- -' terpreted this to the point that Mr. Mitchell actually ran from the scene. This is as false as saying black is white. In fact, Mr. Mitchell stayed to help and aid the Sheriff. He even went so far as to try and get one of the prisoners off the Sheriff as he was being attacked. In talking with the Sheriff prior to last weeks story, his for asking Mr. reasoning Mitchell to leave was in fact his concern for Mitchells welfare in that Mitchell may have been injured. Again we apologize for the way some read a difficult meaning into the story. Mr. Mitchell should be, and we do commend him for his 4-- H 60-ho- Vf-- NUMBER ELEVEN escape story.. jjOSpital BtflCCtiOlS The Eagles have, done themselves proud again.
