Show March 17, 1995 - The Eureka Reporter - Page Five UP&L contest winners Utah Power & Light Environ- mental Contest was held at Santa-qui- n Elementary School on President Jill Snell Conducted the Monday evening meeting of Tintic Ladies of iKlks. Following disposition of routine business, elections were held for officers for the upcoming year. Results of the election: Grace Condcr, president; Shcr-li- n Grill, vice president; Karen Itauin, secretary; Jancnc White-loctreasurer; Jennifer Steele, chaplain. Plans for Installation of Officers were made and set on k, Tuesday, March 21st. A social hour will be held from 6-- 7 p.m., followed by a catered dinner and installation ceremonies. Caterer will be a member of the local LOG, Nan Smith. Charge for the dinner is $7 per plate. Prize winners for the evening were Allienc Farrcn, MarJean Finch and Jill Snell. Following routine business, discussion was held on a petition which was mailed from the State Office, asking for signatures requesting the adoption and ratification of a constitutional amendment prohibiting physical desecration of the United States Flag. A donation was given to Lacy Allinson to help with her trip to the Freedoms Foundation conference at Valley Forge. The Annual Girls State was discussed.. interviews were scheduled on March 9. The Auxiliary is hoping to send three girls to Girls State this year. Some contributions have been received and hopefully, more will be forthcoming. (The fees this year for each girl is $175.00).
