Show Seniors enjoy by Grace Chatwin A regular meeting of the Eure- ka Senior Citizens Young-at- Heart Club was held Wednesday afternoon in the Memorial Build- Curtis ing, with Vice-Preside- nt Butler presiding. Invocation was offered by Butler and all present in joined the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. The remainder of the meeting "God Bless America" was sung, with piano accompaniment by Mabel Butler. Reported on the Sick List were: Kathy Weber, Elna Bird and Alliene Farren. Those celebrating birthdays during the month of March are: Helen Treloar, Else Green, Bessie Toone, Fred Holladay, Leona Franks, Jim Maxwell, Audrey Sanderson and Leland Sanderson, and "Happy Birthday" was sung to them. Minutes of the previous meeting were read by the secretary, Grace Chatwin, and approved by the membership. A treasurers report was given by Joan Dale. Leah announced that there was a container on the table for those wishing to make individual dona- tions to the Youth Center and pointed out that the senior citizen center cannot give donations of this kind. However, anyone wish- ing to make personal donations, Mar. 14 at 7:30 p.m. in the Elks Lodge. Everyone is invited to join in an evening of fun, games, prizes and refreshment sale.
