Show death came suddenly john W the son of mr and mrs J H foley died very suddenly at the family home in this city on tues day morning the boy was apparently in his usual health the night before his death although he had complain ed about feeling cold but in the morning at about nine clock he was seized with convulsions and with in a few minutes after a doctor had been called in he died A report was circulated that the young man had received an injure while at a meeting of the young men s athletic club the night before his death but as near as we have been able to learn there was no truth in this rumor the bo at tended the meeting of the club but according to the statement of the other members he took but little part in the exercises rei J J banks the instructor in had oc casion to go to the dressing room early in the evening and found the bo sitting by the stove he inform ed mr banks that he was unable to keep warm for some reason and was advised to go home this he did do a few minutes later br laker who was called in at the time the boy was suffering with convulsions said there was no sign of a bruise or injury upon the body and that it vas one of the most peculiar cases he has ever encountered john foley would have been fifteen years old next month and for a boy of his age he was exceptionally bright he was the eighth grade in the public school and a general davonte with atie pupils and teachers his death coming in such a sudden form is a sad blow to his parents who are almost heartbroken over their loss trie sympathy of the en tire community goes out to them in their sorrow the funeral services were conduct ed from the M E church on wed afternoon commencing at 1 cloce and the remains were shipped to salt lake on the afternoon train on thursday afternoon the bunal took place from the undertaking parlors of E qi OBon nelT in that city where the family has a great many relatives and friends |
