Show Former resident succumbs in Provo Funeral services were held Wednesday Oct 13 at 11 am a.m. for Leo Henry Ericksen 79 former Ephraim resident who passed away at his home in Provo on Saturday Oct of natural causes Mr Ericksen was born at Mt Pleasant on Dec 7 1891 a son of Erick Henry and Annie Ericksen He married Lurean Caroline Whitlock on Dec 1 19 1913 at Mt Pleasant The marriage was later solemnized solemnized solemnized solem solem- in the Salt Lake Temple Mrs Ericksen passed away Aug 21 1966 He attended schools In Mt Pleasant and Snow Colle College e. e He moved to Pocatello where he be and his wife made their first home while he worked for the Union Pacific Railroad Later they moved to Salt Lake City where Mr Ericksen worked for forthe forthe the Continental OH OU Co in Logan and also for the International Harvester Co In n Ephraim He was also employed for tor the State Road Commission while living in Ephraim In 1949 he moved to Provo and was employed by byEd Ed Firmage Dept Store He was a member of the Church His hobbies and activities included fishing hunting and gardening Survivors Include one son and three daughters Leo H. H Ericksen Jr Orem Mrs Howard Howard How How- ard LuDean Olsen Provo Mrs Neldon Beth Hansen Ephraim Mrs Dave Ruth Wagstaff Ogden two brothers and three sisters Ralph A. A Lovell Wyo Gerald L. L Salt Lake City Mrs Sherman Eva Allred Salt Lake City Mrs Francis Katie Jones Lovell Wyo and Mrs Joseph Helen Penco Price 14 grandchildren and 16 great reat The funeral services were held at the Berg Drawing Room Chapel Interment was in the Ephraim Park Cemetery |
