E Noyes succumbs on March 2nd Funeral services were held Saturday at 1 p. p pm p.m. m. m in the Salina SaUna First Ward Chapel for Dr Ray Eugene Noyes 66 who died March 2 at his home of natural natural natural nat nat- ural causes A native of Ephraim he was born April 24 1905 a son of Newton E E. E and Noyes He married Helen McArthur on Dec 23 1927 In the Salt Lake Temple Dr Noyes graduated from Snow College the University of Utah and Harvard Medical School in Boston He Interned at the Hospital In Salt Lake City He had served as president vice president and secretary of the Central Division Utah MedIcal Medical Medical Med Med- ical Association He was also a member of the American Medical Association Dr Noyes moved to Salina SaUna in 1936 where he was an ex examiner examiner examiner ex- ex for the Selective ice He was instrumental in obtaining rodeo grounds in Salina SalIna Salina Sal Sal- ina and was a member and past drill master of the Salina ridIng riding riding rid rid- ing club He received several awards at horse shows He served a mission to the Western States and was a veteran veteran veteran vet vet- eran of World War II ll Survivors include his widow two sons and two daughters 11 grandchildren and the fol following following following fol- fol lowing brothers Newton Grand Junction and John Keith Caldwell Caldwell Caldwell Cald- Cald well Idaho Burial was in the Salina SaUna PIoneer Pioneer Pioneer Pio PIo- neer Cemetery |
