L Man Funeral services were held Thursday at noon In the Yalecrest Yalecrest Yalecrest Yale- Yale crest II Ward Chapel for James Louis former Ephraim Ephraim Ephraim Eph Eph- raim resident who passed away on Feb 24 at Salt Lake City of ofa ofa ofa a cerebral hemorrhage He was 88 years old He was born October 20 1880 in Ephraim a son of Christian and Mary Larsen He married Margaret Annie Embley on Sept 7 1904 In the Manti Mantl Te Temple mple Mr served as Ephraim postmaster for 16 years from 1934 to 1950 He also served as treasurer of the South Sanpete School District for four years He was co- co owner and manager of the Ephraim Ephraim Ephraim Eph Eph- raim Coal Co for 25 years He also served as water master for the Ephraim Irrigation Co was Sanpete County Democratic Chairman and was engaged in farming An active member of the Church Mr served a month 32 mission in the Western Western Western West West- ern States He was president of the and superintendent superintendent superintendent of the S Sunday day School in the Ephraim West Ward and superintendent of the Sunday Schools in the South Sanpete Stake where he was also one of the seven presidents of Sev Sev- enties Mr was an ordinance worker in the Mantl Manti Temple for five years and inthe inthe in inthe the Salt Lake Temple for 12 years Since 1951 Mr had resided at 1607 Mayfair Circle in Salt Lake City where he was an active high priest In Bonneville and Yalecrest n II Wards In the Bonneville Stake Survivors are his widow son and daughters Armont sen Salt Lake City Mrs Evan C C.
