Order was placed for a carload of corrugated Iron culverts for use on county roads, figures being introduced to show that iron culverts could be installed cheaper than those made of lumber at present prices. On petition of Orangeville city, the old cemetery plat was duly ordered vacated and new plat as filed was ap proved. The city will now be able to give deeds to lots in the cemetery that will be title-clea- r. Peter Tolboe, O. Sorenson jr., and P. Keller, acting as a committee appointed by the town board to ask for county assistance in the purchase of rightofway at the east end of Main street to make possible straightening and otherwise Improving the street, was heard and an appropriation of $275 was mde for this purpose. C. E. Larsen, president of the Emery County Commercial club, appeared before the commission on behalf of the board of governors of the club and also the Castle Dale town board, and asked for an appropriation for a county fair to be held under the auspices of the Commercial club. As there was a fair committee appointed in July, 1919, the board felt to sustain ths old committee to work in connection with the Commercial club. If the people of the county want a fair this fall the commissioners are ready to make an appropriation for that purpose, the feeling of the people to be made known before the July meeting of the board in order that a levy for that purpose may be made.
