Show r TABIOQA by Florence Xurnbow Tabiona Pep club had a slumber party last week at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Joe Curry. Mrs. Gary DeLange and Mrs. Curry were the supervisors. supervi-sors. The club initiated its new members,, Donna Rhoades, Ros- i lin Fabrizio and Charlene Wag-staff Wag-staff into the pep club. Their assignment was going around the town asking for various articles. The club enjoyed mak- ing Tacos. Those , who spnt a sleeples night were Leah and I Evelyn. Webb, Juanita Sweat, Beverly Clark, Lorraine Chavez, Sherri Williams, Roslin Fabrizio, Fabri-zio, Charleena Wagstaff, Kathy Young, Pat Lamb, VaLona Humes, Norma Curry and Donna Don-na Rhoades. rTiger boys are most happy of winning both games. They have new blazers which are olive green. They are a sport, jacket. The boys look very neat ' in them.- Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Jones enjoyed visiting friends and re- latives in SLC recently. Mr. and Mrs. Leo Turnbow and family spent Friday and Saturday in SLC visiting at thei home of Mr. and Mrs. Lynn : Turnbow and seeing their son, Jerry, off at the airport. Claude Wagstaff was in Provo on business Monday. Mr. ." Joseph Rhoades accompanied1 him as far as Heber. -Mr. and Mrs. Duane; Rhoades of Provo spent the weekend visiting at the home! of Mr. and Mrs. Arvel Rhoades over the weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Bern ell. Rhoades and family enjoyed the weeeknd in SLC visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Allen Gines. Mr. and Mrs. Earl Van Tas- sell spent the weekend visiting at Milford with Mr. and Mrs. Bill Van Tassell. Joan Ivie of SLC spent a' few days with her parents, Mr. 1 and Mrs. Pete Ivie. Faun Carlie is also visiting with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Carlile; Steven Lee Rhoades came home on a week's furlough last Wednesday. He has been sta- tioned at Fort Benning, Georgia. He left Tuesday by plane for California. He is to be shipped to Viet Nam very soon. A family reunion was held, Thursday in honor of Steven and Jerry Turnbow. Jerry left for training in Texas at the Air National Guard school. Family members who came and enjoyed a turkey supper at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Arvel Rhoades were Mr. and Mrs. Bernell! Rhoades and family, Mrs. Mary Lee, Mr. and Mrs. Leo Turn bow and family, and. Joseph Rhoades. Twenty-one were present. pres-ent. The evening was also ii honor of Joseph Rhoades on his 80th birthday. Dan Gines and undergon' surgery last week at the LDJ Hospital. He has rallied a little but is still not himself and in critical condition. Mr. and Mrs Dale Gines and Mrs. Wandt Ivie have been to see him dur-the dur-the week. Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Giles ire proud parents of a baby bo who was born January 3. The couple has three other children, two girls and a boy. Parley Turnbow celebrated his 11th birthday with a party at his home Wednesday after school. Friends who came were Shelia Ellertson, Lori Williams, Sherlyn Humes, Kim Jones, Fred Erickson, Ricky Fabrizio, Randy Ivie, Leslie Casper, David Curry, Marsha and Marva Turnbow, Turn-bow, Joyce Wagstaff, LuAnn Clark, Juvon Fabrizio and Ronald Ron-ald Lefler. Hot chocolate and cookies were served . A nutrition class is offered to all ladies especially the young mothers every Thursday from 10:30 to 12 noon each week. County Home Agent Mrs. Mary. C. Boender will teach the class. All ladies are urged to attend. $1.00 is the registration fee for the class. . |
