TRUCK MINES REAP HARVEST Carbon and Emery county truck mines, operating on a non-unibasis are all reaping a harvest during the present coal mine work stoppage in the union organized mines. Most of these properties located in Emery county, with several in Carbon county have been able to obtain many additional orders, and have increased their production several times. Previous to the work stoppage in the organized mines business was slow in these truck operations. These mines, dependent in the past few years on the export coal business, wer almost forced out of business when this exporting of coal was suspended. This action had thrown more of the coal from the union operate i mines on the market, and tnis again effected the business of the independent producers. During the past few weeks many additional cars of coal were loaded throughout the area, and an increase in- the trucks on the- hign-- w ay was also noted. on Six new babies checked into the Dragerton Hospital this past week.
