TA Gt HT DRIVE IN CARBON Plans are now being made under the direction of A. N. Smith, finance chairman of the Carbon district, Boy Scouts of America, for a fund raising campaign to begin on October 8 and extend through October 28. Mr. Smith and District Commissioner Charles Madsen pointed out that many youths benefit from the Boy Scout program even through these various programs are not too familiar to the general public. At the present time only Scout and Explorer programs are active in this district and it is hoped that a cub program can again be instituted. The cub program is for youngsters eight years of age through ten, the Scouts for those ageed 11, 12 and 13 and the Explorer program for those from 14 through 16 years of age. Full details of the drive will be announced next week.
