Show O 4-- H (Continued from Page 7) Mrs. Gerold Morgan and Mr. and Mrs. Ray Johansen, respectively, won their trip to the fair on their demonstration on mounting insects, as a result of their entomology- projects. They barely nosed out another exceptional team, Richard Hansen of Price and Richard Duke of Spring Glen, who demonstrated howto develop good soil. Blain and Arvil have had six work in fly tying, years of carpentry, and entomology, and are this year leading clubs of their own. Blain is leading two clubs, one a girls club in shellcraft. Refinishing wood was the subject of the winning demonstration in the senior girls section for which Bonnie Pace, daughter of Carlyle Pace of Price, and Sharon Aitken, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Aitken of Price won their trip to the fair. Both girls are members and are taking both clothing and home improvement projects this year. Miss LaRene Petersen of Wellington, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lorenzo Petersen, had an outstanding demonstration on hot rolls. This is her eighth year in and she has specialized in foods work. Her mother, Mrs. Wanda Petersen, is her leader. Miss Katherine Berry, daughter of Mrs. Edna Berry of Martin, made the best exhibit of jam or trophy jelly. She received a as an award. The meal preparation contest, in which Judy Ann Hartley, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. D. H. Hartley of Wellington, was named winner, demonconsisted of a three-hou- r stration. In this demonstration she did the marketing, prepared and served a dinner to four guests, and cleaned up afterward. Judy is in and is also her sixth year of one two in child clubs, leading care and one in foods. Bobby Bardsley and Hank Hassell, a team of demonstrators, 4-- H, 4-- H 4-- H, tie a trout killer showed how-tfly. They are the sons of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Bardsley and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Hassell of Price. David Armstrong, the outstanding inshowed dividual demonstration, how to tie a devastator fly. He is the son of Louis Armstrong of Price. All three boys are in their o third year of 4-- H. Shanna Woodruff, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Cliff, Woodruff of Hiawatha, and Mary Gordon, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Shefton Gordon of Hiawatha, as a team demonstrated how to knead bread. Patsty Waterman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Russell Waterman of Price, as an individual demonstrator showed how to pack sandwiches, for a lunch.
