The message read: "I was thrilled to death to see that someone at Dixie was finally going to address the lack of recycling here. Coming from Seattle, I have been apalled at how no one here seems to care if we are running our planet into the ground. Sadly, the article really was uninspiring, and the girl who dropped off the new Suns at our office, picked up the old copies and dropped them in the garbage. Brilliant guys. way to practice what you preach and protect the Earth." On the behalf of The Dixie Sun staff, we would like to apologize for our lack of responsibility. The duty of a newspaper is to back the stories that they publish, and as a news staff, who uses paper in mass, we are probably a leading culprit. In restitution and response to Maxwells complaint, The Dixie Sun office is now the proud owner of a recycling bin, which we will use faithfully. All faculty, students, and visitors are encouraged to use it. The bin is located in the corner of the Sun office, which is located below the student services building, and next to the old security office.
