I just didn't want that However, I do feel I was lucky because I was a great candidate to use drugs and alcohol, I wasn't a good stu dent, I didn't have a lot of family, and the circumstances around a broken home all put me in danger of not succeeding. I was lucky and I feel like I " owe something back. Because of his feelings towards drug abuse, Don has spent time freelancing in drug prevention. Having been certified ae a drug prevention specialist at Utah State University, he now gives lectures. In 1987 Reid did 76 lectures and in 1988-12- 6 and this year he has already done 100. Don has been asked by the National Chief of Campus Police Journal to write an article concerning Robutussin abuse.
