Dale King, a navy veteran of WWII, came to work at DPG for the first time in 1952. After leaving in 1954 to accept a position on the faculty at North Dakota State University and estab-- . lishing himself as one of the premier teachers on the campus, he returned to Test Center in 1963 and to Dugway in 1973. King has spent most of his time in the Environmental and Life Sciences Division. r t ' Gerald W. Vowles retired in January after 30 years of government service. Vowles. has served at Deseret Test Center and in Ditto area where he was a field foreman and Chief of Grid Oper- De-ser- et - ations. Vowles said he enjoyed the years at DPG and he will miss all the people. Madison J. Argyle first came to Dugway in 1962 as a "Decon" operator; In 1971 he started in the plumbing division of the Post Engineers. Argyle finished his career at Grid Operations as a material test operator. He is glad to be retired but says he will miss the people.
