an appropriation of COO which was read and referred mr nir johnson presented a remonstrance from eighty three citizens of pay on against the I 1 repeal of payson city charter which was laid on the table mr long presented a petition of many citizens of Great Salt lake county praying for the passage of an act prohibiting the erection of fish oish traps in the jordan or other rivers and their tributaries tributa ries in this territory which was read and referred the bill for repealing certain city charters which was the special order of the day was tabled indefinitely several other bills relation to attachments attachment and garnishments garnish ments were concurred con currea in progress was made with several bills the most important of 0 which was a bill presented by mr long 0 for regulating the assessing abs abb eising and collecting I 1 of jot county territorial and city taxes the minutes 0 of the proceedings 0 of both the council and house on monday and tuesday are somewhat
