The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died April 27, 1965. SHE WAS a member of the LDS Church. She had served in the Relief Society and had been an Ogden Temple ordinance worker. She was reared in Altona, Utah. She had lived in Idaho, Salt Lake City, Price and in the Uintah Basin area for 40 years She had made her home in Layton the past 30 years. . She married Jose Ruiz on March 11, 1942 in Cotulla. Tex. SHE WAS reared in Texas and had lived in Michigan, Burley, Ida. for 12 years and in Layton since GRAVESIDE services were held at the Altamont Cemetery with dedication of the grave by Kenneth 1972. Turner, son of Peggy J. and Bernard McDonald of Layton, has been decorated with the second award of the Army Achievement Medal in West Germany.
