Committee members are Davis County Commission Chairman Glen E. Saunders; Assistant County Attorney Gerald Hess; and Wilbur R. They also visited in Richfield with his mother Mrs. Afton Felt and other relatives. Kenneth Pilcher is convalescing at home after undergoing major surgery recently at Cottonwood Hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Edward Lee and children Delbert Pilcher and Maxine Vest were Christmas dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Woodrow Pilcher. Mrs. Addie Marsden and her son Bill Marsden from Kansas City, Mo. spent a few days last week in St. George with Mr. and Mrs. Doug Stewart and family. Mr. Stewart is producer of the current movie The Red Fury" which is playing at theaters in the area. His wife is formerly from Kaysville. Mrs. Addie Marsden had the opportunity of being in the movie. Mayor and Mrs. Dean Brand and family were guests for Christmas Day dinner in Ogden at the home of Mrs. Brand's brother. Colonel and Mrs. Larry M. Davis. Also on hand was her mother, Mrs. Delecta M. Davis of Ogden. arrived to spend Christmas in Kaysville with her mother Mrs. Ruth Otterstrom and with her sis- ter and family. Dr. and Mrs. L. Bruce Jensen. Mr. and Mrs. Dee Stephenson entertained at a Christmas dinner party on Dec. 13 for 17 guests who were former high school friends. Mr. and Mrs. Ira J. Lynn was on his way to school with his brother, David, two years older than Lynn. HIS MOTHER believes that there have been many miracles connected with Lynns tragedy. IS IT A miracle that despite Lynns spinal cord being severed at the base of his neck, the only brain damage is to the control of his limbs, although he is paralyzed from the neck down? Lynn is still keen of mind - so much so that he is taught daily by an instructor from the Davis School District. He does his mathe -- HE IS BEING fed intraveniously, but says he has faith that he will someday eat solid food again. He has faith about many things - including fulfilling a mission for the LDS Church. Lynn wont give up, and neither will his parents and many -- friends to this -- - and some strangers - who have become very attached young man. -- spirit-fightin- g MRS. OLSEN praises the staff of South Davis Medical Center, a specialty hospital, for being "one happy family working together not only for the care and concern of the patients but to their parents and loved ones as well." Lynns tragedy has struck the hearts of many, and as he struggles to succeed, he will touch the hearts of many more." i |
